Professional Development Committee
Chair:  Rita Masi
Function:  Plans training, seminars and conferences for FCHSC members and the community.
Meeting date and time:  Third Friday in month at 3:00 p.m. (subject to change)
Meeting Place:  St. Mary’s Convent

Special Activities Committee

Chair:  Sr. Annette Frey, S.C.
Function: This committee collaborates with member agencies to reach out into the community to increase community awareness of available services. We also enhance collaboration within the group through yearly planned events.

Meeting Place:  Penn State Extension

Membership Committee

Chair:  Sandra Morris
Function: Recruit and maintain membership, maintain and monitor website content.
Meeting date and time:  As needed by email
Meeting place:  Fayette Health Center, Services to Senior Citizens offices.

Research and Development Committee

Chair:  John Rapano
Function: A working partnership of human service professionals, academics, and the community that focuses and coordinates research efforts to study the causes, consequences and ultimately solutions to the problem of poverty in Fayette County. Current project is the Research Institute.
Ongoing activities:
Analyzing the results of “A Survey of Social Conditions in Fayette County”
Developing programs based on findings from the research study of poverty
